1. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
I live in Kenmore, WA but am happy to travel. If you live farther than 20 miles from 98028. a travel fee may apply
2. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE?

3. DO YOU USE A FLASH?
I am a natural light photographer and I do not use flash.
4.HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
Galleries will take four weeks for delivery. You will receive a sneak peek within a week of your session.
5. WHERE DOES THE SESSION TAKE PLACE? DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
I do not use a studio. I am happy to take your pictures in-home or outdoors. I decide on specific locations with each individual family.
6. I'M NOT PHOTOGENIC AT ALL!
I can assure you that it does not matter in the slightest. I will be guiding you through transitional posing.
7. WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Don’t worry! I want to make this decision as easy as possible for you, every session comes with a guide to help you prepare fully for your session. I will give you detailed instructions on what to wear and be available by text for styling support!
8. WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GET RAINED OUT?
If the weather is looking rainy at the start of the day, we will touch base and discuss the option of moving the outdoor session to an in-home session, or rescheduling for the next non rainy day that fits with your schedule. For sessions scheduled in fall and winter it is important to remember that we do live in a rain-heavy area, and I suggest considering a “rainy session” with boots and a clear umbrella (which I provide), if the forecast is for light showers. I know this is not favorable for all family types, but for some this might be a fun and playful option.
9. WHAT IF MY KIDS DON'T COOPERATE?
The beauty of lifestyle photography is that your kids don’t have to pose. Of course I will do my best to get you that “money shot portrait” but your sessions will be full of talking and laughing. My goal is to capture your kids as they are, not only capture them as little models. Sometimes a few pouts can be cute, and, not to brag… but kids really like me, and I have a high confidence level in this particular area. If for some reason your kiddo is having a really hard time and will not cooperate whatsoever, we can always reschedule.
10. I SAW THESE CUTE PICTURES ON PINTEREST. CAN WE DO THOSE?
I am happy to take inspiration pictures and work with them. I do not ever promise a specific image, but I promise to deliver something similar if and when possible.
11. WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP THE SESSION GO SMOOTHLY?
Make sure kids are fed. Make sure you are fed. Bring a water bottle. Families with kids bring small treats like gummy bears or fruit snacks (excellent for bribery when all else fails). NOTE: I would advise against lollipops and anything bigger than bite-sized snacks as they WILL end up in pictures, so unless you want a white stick hanging out of your kiddos mouth, or a giant graham cracker in their hand, go small, or wait until we are done with pictures.
12.DO YOU INCLUDE THE DIGITAL FILES?
Yes, I only deliver JPEG digital files. I do not offer RAW images or prints in my package pricing. However, at the bottom of your gallery there is options to buy professionally printed images and have them delivered to you. There is no option for delivery of RAW files.
13. ARE THE FILES EDITED/RETOUCHED?
Yes, all images are lightly edited. I do not retouch faces (blemishes, makeup, skin smoothing, etc.)
14.DO YOU PROVIDE BLACK & WHITE COPIES?
Your gallery will include a mix of color and black and white images
15. DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?
Yes! I remove blurry pictures, blinking eyes, and duplicates, and I give you the rest!
16. WHERE SHOULD I PRINT MY IMAGES?
I highly recommend purchasing prints directly from your gallery. Prints purchased from there are coming from a well known, highly rated, professional printing service. All images are double checked for color accuracy. They ensure that their printers are 100% consistent across all products to give you dependable color quality.
